The Connecticut Military Department has a wide range of positions available at various locations throughout the state.  These positions are divided into two categories, “competitive” and “non-competitive” positions.

Competitive – positions that require an examination administered by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS).  Individuals interested in these positions must have taken the exam by the filing deadline of the job opening.  A list of exams currently being offered by DAS can be found at http://www.das.state.ct.us/exam or by calling 860-713-5205.

Non-Competitive – positions that do not require an examination, but the individual must meet the minimum qualifications for the position as stated in the announcement.
